About Hugh

I’m a motivated designer passionate about architecture.

Living on the tropical island of Barbados for most of my life, I am especially interested in architectural designs that respond to the tropical climate.

As such, I also created a blog called Architropics, highlighting design ideas and inspiration for tropical regions.

I hope you will follow my journey exploring architectural design.

About Architropics

I started Architropics to share my thoughts and ideas of things to consider when building a house in the tropics. Many homes in tropical regions are deficient in responding to the tropical climate.

Architropics provides future and existing homeowners with the knowledge and resources to design and build in the tropics. It explores homes that, in some way, respond to their climate and provide inspiration and ideas.
